My services are billed hourly (in 15 minute increments) at $200/hour. The introductory meeting and brainstorming session will nearly always take an hour, sometimes a little more.
There isn't an exact formula for how long the editing will take with each student. Some essays are 200 words, some are 1000 words. Some students will need up to five revisions, some will finish their essays more quickly. I estimate 1-2 hours of work per revision, particularly for the longer essays, with up to five revisions per essay.
I'm based in Somerville, Mass., and so can hold introductory meetings in person for clients in Boston, and over Skype for students elsewhere in the country. Email me for more information.
